About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate Direct Support Companion Professional with experience in supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Responsibilities include implementing behavior plans, teaching self-help skills, fostering community engagement, and providing emotional support to enhance clients' overall well-being. The role also involves observing and documenting behavior changes and maintaining a safe environment. Ideal candidates are dependable, flexible with scheduling, and physically capable of assisting clients. Requirements include a high school diploma (or equivalent), being 18 years or older, a valid driver’s license, a reliable vehicle, and willingness to undergo a live scan. Prior experience is preferred.
